• We will be photographing new students, students who were absent on the original picture day, and any student whose parents are requesting a retake.

• If your child needs their picture retaken, this can also be done on retake day. The student should bring the original photo package, including original envelope and all picture products, to turn into the photographer when they come to sit for a new picture. They do not need to fill out a new order form.
  

Myersville invites you to participate in our school's 2022-2023 Family Survey. Your feedback is important to us! Your responses will remain anonymous and will be combined with the responses of other families.

The Myersville PTA is excited to announce that The Holiday Gift Shop will be back again this holiday season. Taking place on Thursday, December 15 and Friday, December 16, all MYES students will have the opportunity to experience the joy of giving and purchase inexpensive, but meaningful gifts for their loved ones in time for the holidays. More information to follow in the coming weeks. The PTA is recruiting parent volunteers to help staff The Holiday Gift Shop. Click here if you are interested in signing up for a volunteer shift, and feel free to reference the student shopping schedule here if you’d like to volunteer when your child(ren) is shopping.

The PTA is also collecting scholarship funds to ensure all students have an opportunity to shop. If you are able, please consider making a $20 donation, or the most generous gift you are comfortable with, so that school-identified students can shop just like their friends. Contributions accepted via PayPal link here or via check (made out to MYES PTA and sent to the school address to the attention of Myersville PTA - Dawn Garrott). Questions? MYES PTA presents OZ as the school play this year! Students in grades 2-5 are eligible to participate. We will have a parent meeting on Wednesday, November 16 at 6pm in the media center. A virtual option will be posted on the MYES PTA Facebook page the morning of the 16th. We will share important information and dates at this meeting. If you are unable to attend please email myesplay2023@gmail.com.

Teacher Substitute; must have 60 college credits. $21/hour

Special Education Instructional Assistant; must have a high school diploma. $15.36/hour

Arrival- Students can begin to arrive between 8:30 and 9:00 am. For the safety of our students, students cannot be permitted in the building prior to 8:30 am. Instruction begins promptly at 9:00 am.

Walkers are asked to enter the building at the Kindergarten doors. Car riders should be dropped off in the back lot in the car rider loop between 8:30-9:00 am. Please remain in a single file line.

Dismissal- Walkers and car riders will be dismissed at 3:30 pm. Walkers exit from the main entrance while car riders are dismissed in the back of the school. Students will wait inside the school in the gym. Please remain in your vehicle while waiting in the car rider loop.

Car rider pick up will be in two waves in order to minimize traffic on Main Street. Please do not block the crosswalk on Main Street if you are waiting. If you have multiple children at MYES, please arrive at 3:30. If you have only one child, please arrive at 3:40. Your adherence to these times will greatly support our school dismissal- thank you in advance.

Myersville Elementary is a place where students and staff are engaged learners. They feel safe to take risks and all contributions are valued. Here we have fun while we learn in our school community.
