Principal's Corner

We have had a couple of important school events in the past two weeks. Parent Teacher Interview night was September 28th. Thank you to the parents that were able to attend. Please remember that conversations about your child’s progress should continue throughout the year. We encourage parents and students to continue using the PowerSchool app to stay updated with their child’s progress.

We hosted our Junior and Senior High Awards Night last Friday. We had a great turnout and appreciated celebrating our students’ accomplishments with their families. If your child could not attend, we sent their award home with them yesterday.

Looking ahead, we will be enjoying Squads next week. We plan to build scarecrows together next Tuesday. Each Squad will build a scarecrow to enter into the town competition. The scarecrows will be displayed in front of the school for the rest of the month.

Lastly, BRSD is examining school boundaries and is looking for public input. BRSD will host a community engagement session in our Daysland gym for the Flagstaff County area to learn more about the potential plan. The session will be held on October 18th from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm.

Athletics

We are well into our volleyball seasons and our teams are doing great! This weekend we will host our Jr. High Girls Home Tournament. Good luck girls!

Our X Country Running season will come to a close on Thursday this week, with runners competing at Regionals in Bashaw. Good luck, and well done and many personal best times this season!

Sr. high Students will be selling Little Caesar's Pizza again this fall. Watch for further info to come!
