Shout-Outs

  • Shout-out to our Freshmen of the Week from last week! Mya Broadnax comes to us from the Academy for Academics and Arts Middle School. Here at Lee, she is a part of the Dance Magnet and is in the ensemble of our spring musical The Wiz. She also wants to join the band next year. In her free time, she enjoys reading and hanging out with her sister. She loves science, reading, singing, and dancing. After graduating from Lee, she wants to go to college and pursue a degree in engineering and wants to work on architecture and designing buildings. Her favorite teacher so far is Ms. Cooper because she got her more interested in reading. She plans to take African American studies next year so she can have her again. Gavin Holden comes to us from Morris Middle School. Here at Lee, he is a part of the football team. In his free time, he enjoys cooking, playing the ocarina, and hanging out with his brothers. After graduating from Lee, he wants to go to school for culinary or welding, His favorite teachers so far are Ms. Cooper, Ms. Renaud, and Ms. Jiang.
