Introducing Mrs. Lindsay Grow
Our new DES Assistant Principal

About Mrs. Grow
Dear Denton Elementary Families,
It is with great excitement that I write this letter of introduction to you as the new Assistant Principal of Denton Elementary School. I am honored to have the opportunity to help lead a school with such motivated students, an extremely dedicated staff, and a supportive school community. I feel very fortunate to be part of this school and to support the staff, students, and families. My official start date was July 1, 2023; however, I had the unique opportunity to transition into the position in May and June. I have enjoyed exploring the school and getting to know the outstanding staff members and students at Denton Elementary.
I have been dedicated to education for more than twenty years. I was a primary education teacher for eighteen years and have spent the past three years as the Instructional Technology Teacher Specialist for Caroline County Public Schools. I hold a master's degree in Instructional Technology and Educational Leadership. I am thrilled to bring my skills as an educator and leader to Denton Elementary School and work with you as an educational partner.
My decision to become an administrator came from my desire to impact an entire school community positively. As the Assistant Principal, I will work diligently with Mrs. Crebs, our faculty and staff, and the community to carry out the vision and mission of Denton Elementary School. This role will allow me to work collaboratively with teachers daily while remaining connected to our student's growth and learning in the classroom.
The partnership between home and school should inspire confidence in students to use their powers to shape their future and the future of our community and world. During the year, I hope we will work together to provide our students with the best opportunities. As Assistant Principal, my door is always open, and I welcome your conversation and collaboration throughout this year.
I look forward to celebrating our collaborative successes during the 2023-2024 school year.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Lindsay Grow
