The Lion Ledger
Lemoore Elementary School
Principal's Message
Welcome to November!
Trimester one has come to an end and so much has been learned in the first 12 weeks of the school year. The month of November is a time to reflect and express gratitude for those people and experiences in our lives. November is also a time to stop for Veterans Day and honor those men and women who’ve served our country.
November will bring Fall parent conferences and Thanksgiving Break. It can also be the start of the hectic holiday season that brings changes in school and family routines. Even the time of day changes as we “fall back” from Daylight Savings!
The Lemoore Elementary students are continuing to focus on increasing foundational reading skills and comprehension, as well as numeracy. We will also be honoring our Lions for outstanding academic and behavioral efforts during our Trimester 1 rally on November 18th.
During the week of Thanksgiving Break we encourage students to read every day for twenty minutes a day. Reading for twenty minutes each day can greatly increase success. Below is a link to a November reading challenge

Happy November!
