Good morning E.O. Green JHS parents, guardians and community members,

Can you believe that we only have two weeks to conclude with the 2020-21 school year?; wow!

Please continue encouraging your students to complete their classwork and submitting it on time to earn outstanding grade marks. The report cards will go home Friday, June 18.

Here are some friendly reminders:

• The last three days of school, June 16, 17 & 18, the learning bell schedule will be very different due to promotion and concluding the school year. Please note that all students will be coming to school on Friday, June 18, with their cohort A or B. More detailed information about the bell schedule will be distributed by teachers posting it, sent via the weekly family bulletin, shared via SMS-Text Notification, Markee and posted on our website. • Promotion is soon approaching, two promotions on 5/16 and 5/17. Please see the detailed promotion information below.

• GREEN is collecting the Chromebook, charger and protective black case the last days of school, June 16 and 17. Therefore, your student should expect to have an instructional class schedule that will include a combination of in-person and asynchronous work for the last days of school. All students will be assigned classwork that doesn’t require a device once we collect it.

Letters have been sent to the homes of students who did not meet promotion requirements. Please call the office if you have any questions.

Students are encouraged to wear uniforms, but non-uniform attire is optional if you have outgrown your school uniform. Please review the guide below. The first two pages describe the uniform policy and the third page describes the non-uniform dress code policy and items to avoid wearing on campus.

Get your Green Gear before the end of the year and be ready for 2021-2022 school year. You can pick up sweatshirts ($25) and t-shirts ($15) in the library during nutrition or your brain break. **CASH ONLY**

Each student who has met the promotion requirements will receive TWO TICKETS for promotion. All students who are promoting will receive their tickets on either June 14th or June 15th during the promotion practice/rehearsal.
