A big shout out to our Cougar Tech Robotics team, CougarTech competed in the 2022 Finger Lakes Regional competition at RIT’s Gordon Field house last week and over the weekend . Our team won the semis and finals of the Finger Lakes Regional! This is the first competition win for the program. Congratulations Cougar Tech! The HFL HS Counseling office will administer the semiannual Connectedness Survey on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 during first set. Questions will be asked about personal and school stressors, alcohol and other drug use, mental health, community involvement and school connectedness. Information from the survey assists the Counseling Center to plan programming and access outside resources for youth based on our student self-reported needs. Participation is voluntary and anonymous. If you do not want your son/daughter to participate in the survey, please complete the attached document and return it to the Counseling Center by March 14, 2022.

ModA Lacrosse - Meet in Film Room Tuesday, March 16 at 3 PM

Take the New York State Learner's Permit written test right here at HFL High School. We will provide you with all the necessary DMV forms and Driver's Manual. Stop by or call the Community Programs Office (624-7068) to schedule your exam.

The foreign language club meets this Thursday in Mrs. Pawlak's room from 2-3 PM.

Matthew was awarded the scouts highest honor- Eagle Scout! He belongs to Honeoye Falls Troop 10. An Eagle Scout applicant must amass ​​21 or more badges, create and complete an Eagle project, write several essays, request five recommendation letters, compile an application binder, and undergo an Eagle board of review before their application is approved at the national level.1 The process typically takes several years, with the most intense and time-consuming aspects coming in the last three to six months.

The Senior Citizens' annual matinee performance of this year's musical, Les Misérables is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, at 2 p.m., in the District Auditorium.

Unfortunately, the District will NOT be able to accommodate the luncheon this year. no cost for senior citizens to attend this performance only.
