Parent Information
Attendance Policy: Message from Principal Leeman: Hi Families, please review our district attendance policy. Attendance is imperative to the learning of all of our students. Students with poor attendance fall behind academically & socially. It becomes increasingly tough to catch back up and poor attendance for one year has dramatic effects on school years to come. Please reach out to myself or Ms. Elliott if you are in need of support.
Nature's Classroom Reminder: The first Nature’s Classroom payment was due Tuesday, 10/10/23. Please send in your first payment if you have not done so already. This payment amount is $145. It is our goal that all 6th grade students attend Nature's Classroom. If you have any financial concerns please contact Mr. Leeman as soon as possible. It is our goal to make any accommodations necessary so all students attend.
Chaperones are an important part of this program. Chaperones help the teachers oversee students in the cabin and participate in the Nature’s Classroom program in various capacities. If you are interested in chaperoning please email Mrs. Wenzel (mwenzel@wbridgewater.com). If more parents are interested than needed we will have a lottery.
School Lunch
Howard Lunch Ordering: New this year Howard students are placing their lunch orders via a Google form using their Chromebooks in their homerooms in the morning. If you know your child is going to be late you can order your child's lunch via this link before they get to school to ensure they are able to get the lunch they want. Please note that this link will expire by 8:10 am. Late students are only offered a limited menu after that time. All students are required to let the cafeteria know via the google form or the tardy late slip if they are ordering lunch or bringing their lunch.
Adding money for a la carte items: While meals are free, students must have money on their accounts to buy extra items. Milk is available for students that bring meals from home for $.75 at all schools and Howard and the MSHS offer many healthy snacks and bottled water. Cash and checks are accepted and electronic payments can be made through MySchoolBucks. You will need your child's 10-digit SASID# to register for a MySchoolBucks account.
Going Green Menus- click to sign up to have your menus emailed automatically.

Peace Poster Contest Winners
The Lions Club of West Bridgewater sponsors the Lions Club International Peace Poster Contest for our district each year. This year’s theme was “Dare to Dream." The theme should show how students dare to dream and make world peace a reality. Please congratulate Mya Pombo (1st place), Maddy Lefferts (2nd Place), and Mackenzie Killgoar (3rd place). Mya's poster will be sent to the district competition to be judged in December. The Lions club of West Bridgewater generously donated participation buttons for each student who participated and also monetary prizes for the winners. Congratulations everyone!
