Emmanuel Baptist Church
November 22, 2022
EBC Family,
We had a great time last night at our Church Family Thanksgiving Dinner. The food was delicious and the fellowship was encouraging. By my estimate we had some 40 or so members of Trinity Baptist join us for the meal. They all expressed gratitude for being invited and included at our dinner. As we continue to pray for the future of their church, I hope that we will have other opportunities to open our facilities to them.
I want to say a special thank you to Cheryl Bell and our Kitchen Team! Your service was a blessing to 2 church families last night. Thank you for preparing the turkeys, hams, potatoes, and dressing. Thank you for spending Sunday afternoon preparing to feed all of us. Thank you for staying late to clean up. And thank you for serving with cheerful hearts. Y’all are a blessing to EBC!
Speaking of the Kitchen Team, several members of the current team are stepping down including Cheryl Bell who has been leading the team for the last few years - which means there is an opportunity for new people to serve! We need 5 people to join the Team for 2023. If God is prompting you to serve your Church Family in this way, please visit with me about that.
It’s a joy to belong to the EBC Family,
Pastor Clint
