Christmas Cash For Kids
One of Potomack's business partners, City National Bank, is partnering with the United Way to raise money for economically disadvantaged families here in Berkeley County. Last year, Potomack students were able to raise over $200 for families in our community. Starting Monday, November 13, students will have the opportunity to bring in spare change to support these families until Friday, December 15.
Please see below for a flyer related to other ways you can provide funds to families during the holiday season at various businesses in the panhandle. Thank you!
Glass Container Reminder
Please be reminded students should only bring plastic refillable bottles to school. Glass bottles or containers could break and cause a safety risk. Thank you!
Return of Strings Classes
Strings will return to Potomack starting Monday, November 13. Please drop off your students before 7:20am on their traditional Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday schedule. Thank you!
Milk Carton Shortage Information
Due to guidelines presented by the Office of Child Nutrition, starting Monday, November 6:
- Students that buy lunch are not allowed to purchase an additional milk due to a milk carton shortage, but will still be provided a milk with lunch.
- Students packing lunch are allowed to buy a milk, but must do so in cash. They cannot charge.
Thank you for your understanding!
PASS Volunteer Information
Potomack is seeking volunteers for our PASS program! The PASS program involves community members who are willing to volunteer at least 30 minutes out of their week with a student one on one. PASS volunteers help students with schoolwork and build positive relationships with them to help them to succeed. If you want to know more or are interested in becoming a PASS volunteer, check out the link below.
