- NJSLA testing resumes on May 16 (Math 5, 6, 7, & 8). Algebra and Geometry students resume testing on the 17th. Testing concludes for all students on May 18. Please see the
May 5 Weekly Update for important reminders regarding NJSLA testing.
- The Lions' Den will not be open for students before school on May 15 and May 16, and there will be no Den Hour on May 16 due to Festival of the Arts. The last day for morning Lions' Den is Friday, May 19. The after-school Den Hour will continue through the month of May.
- The Mountain View Parent Council serves on a volunteer basis and works with Ms.Toth (Principal) with the primary objective of fostering dialogue and communication on school-wide topics between the parent community and the School Administration. This team works on behalf of all parents to discuss educational and administrative matters that are of importance to all. The Mountain View Parent Council is in need of volunteers for the 2023-2024 school year to serve a 2-year term. Meetings take place monthly on Friday mornings.

If you are interested in serving on the Parent Council, please contact Mrs. Toth as soon as possible, and no later than May 26.
- At the April 25 Board of Education meeting, a revised version of the 2023-2024 calendar was approved. Please click here to view the calendar and note that the first day of school for students will now be Monday, August 28.
- 5th, 6th, and 7th grade parents: Please reach out to your child’s pediatrician to schedule physicals for sports paperwork for the fall season. You may access and print all paperwork and find information regarding requirements on the Student Athlete Information page. Sports forms must be submitted to the Health Office by Monday, August 28.
- For those wishing to get a head start, supply lists for the 2023-2024 school year have been posted to the district website. Click here to access them.
