iReady Family Information Session
Thursday September 14 - iReady Family Information Session
This session will provide general information about iReady at Wagner Middle School. Wagner administers an iReady diagnostic to our students in Math and Reading at 3 times during the school year, beginning next week. iReady will help families and staff identify student strengths and areas of need, guide personalized learning paths for students, and how iReady can provide targeted skill instruction.

Wagner Spirit Day!
Friday, September 15th
Encourage your students to wear Red or any Wagner gear on Friday, September 15th! Homeroom classes with the highest participation will win bragging rights, a Shout-Out on the morning announcements, and Wagner swag!
Attention 6th Grade Families
You are invited to a “Welcome Get-Together” in the Wagner Cafeteria on Tuesday, September 12th from 8:30am to 9:30am hosted by Kristen Oberlander. Have a cup of coffee with fellow Wagner parents while you meet the 6th Grade Team.

Please join us for our first PA meeting of the school year (!) on Friday, September 22nd at 9:00 am via Zoom. As a reminder, every Wagner parent and guardian is automatically a member of the Parents’ Association. Attending meetings is a great way to learn more about our school community and keep updated on special events, important issues, and more.

Opportunities
The Levy Choir School
The Levy Choir School, a tuition-free, non-sectarian music education program, is now enrolling students ages 7 and up for this academic year. Sponsored by All Saints Episcopal Church (60th Street between 2nd and 3rd), the program meets twice weekly at 4:30 PM on Thursdays and 12:30 PM on Sundays, and offers training in voice and music theory with regular performance opportunities both at All Saints and in the community.
This is a non-sectarian program for the community; all are welcome. No religious affiliation is required, and no religious instruction is given.
