Principal's Message
Dear Families,
February is a short, busy month with much to celebrate with Lunar New Year, Black History Month, and Valentine's Day.
Teachers are launching our school-wide Black History Month Choice board with their classes and will plan ways students will share their learning with the community. Take a look at the attachment below and consider exploring an area at home. You can learn about the history of Black History Month here.
Classes will celebrate Valentine's Day on Monday, February 14. You will hear more from your child's teacher about the plans.
A general body PTA meeting is scheduled for February 3 at 7:00pm. Central office will share information about proposed revisions to the elementary report card and we will share information about the FY23 budget process. Watch for a meeting link from our PTA.
I strongly urge parents to review the budget webinar to learn about the process in advance of budget release. Please reach out with questions.
Report cards for K-5 students will be sent home in backpack mail on Friday, February 11.
Warm Regards,
Holly Searl, Principal
