The Gator Gazette
October 30 - November 3
REMINDER...
With Halloween Tuesday, October 31 - students should not wear costumes to school and costumes should be left at home.
Thank you for your support!
Hello Gators!
Quarter #2 is off to a great start with students settling into their schedule along with new after school activities and athletics.
The GATOR PRIDE is flowing through our Glenview halls and the community as our Gators are BUSY. Gators are everywhere, they are in concerts, parades, at the Builders Club skate party, and seen supporting each other and community events. We are all gearing up for basketball, cheer, and wrestling. The Drama Club is also well on their way to showcasing their first production - The Stinky Cheese Man.
Our first Student Council dance was a hit as GMS students enjoyed dancing the time away, sitting around the "camp fire" and snacking on caramel apples and s'mores. Thank you StuCo for hosting this event!
This Thursday evening and Friday morning are Parent Teacher Conferences at GMS - Students should attend with their family.
Parent Teacher Conferences:
- Thursday, November 2 from 3pm - 7pm
- Friday, November 3 from 7:15am - 11am
GMS teachers will be sending emails today, if they have not already, notifying you of your confirmed conference time. If you have any questions regarding your scheduled conference time please contact the GMS Main Office or your student's 1st period teacher beginning Tuesday, October 31.
Conference time is a great opportunity for parents/guardians to get to know your student's teachers, to talk about what support is needed to improve and maintain academic and behavioral performance in school and to stay on track for promotion.
If you have questions please contact us - GMS Main Office 309.755.1919, we are here to assist.
Enjoy Every Moment and Have a GATOR Day!
