WELCOME TO THE TEAM!

While Krysta Rathwell is away, Shawna Johnson is assuming the role of Acting Principal. Caroline Simonson is also joining the admin team part time as a Co-Principal until Mrs. Rathwell’s return. Ms. Simonson brings with her a wealth of experience as a teacher and administrator. Her most recent assignment was Assistant Principal at Ecole Camrose Composite High School.


Shirley Ewing is joining our teaching staff to teach Mrs. Rathwell and Mrs. Johnson’s classes until further notice. Mrs. Ewing has been a valued substitute teacher at Bashaw School for the past year. She is familiar with many of the students and staff already, so her transition into teaching a variety of subjects and grades has been smooth.

The Open Doors - Mental Health Awareness

As per an email that was sent to all families on March 3, we want to let you know Rachel and Danny, from The Open Doors in Camrose, will continue to visit our school at lunch on Wednesdays from now through the end of the school year. They will alternate setting up their booth in the Open Air in the Secondary wing, and in the Main Foyer. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to the school.
