Good evening Mary Scott Rising Stars

I hope you had an awesome weekend! The weather was beautiful, although a little chilly. This is indeed, my kind of weather!


Today was my Hubby's birthday and we have a great time. I cooked (which is a rarety) and a good time was had by all. There were 8 of us for dinner and he opened his gifts and seemed to be very happy with his take. LOL!.


To top the evening off, I had arranged a Zoom Birthday celebration with our children and some of our grandchildren and Earl's brother. Soooooo, we spoke to our children in Florida, North Carolina and Minnesota. Our grandchildren were in Florida, Georgia, Minnesota and North Carolina; our niece in Georgia and Earl's brother in Albany, Georgia. It was great seeing everyone as we have not seen each other in just over a year. (Face to face).


I look forward to seeing you in the morning, bright and early at 8:30 a.m. Hopefully you will have a fun story to share about something exciting you did this weekend.


Looking forward to another successful week in week three of this brand new school year.

DISTRIBUTION OF TABLETS AND HOT SPOTS

Distribution of tablets and hot spots should take place next week. We will create a distribution plan which will minimize contact. Because of the increase in COVID cases within RPS, it is imperative that we limit the number of people who come into our building. I have provided the tablet and hot spot needs for the students at Mary Scott, adding a cushion to accommodate the new students who may enroll in your class. If you have technology needs, please contact me ASAP.

Google classroom training with Mrs. Ashley Bland will take place Thursday from 11:00 to 12:00 noon. Invites will be sent to you via email.

Affirmation for the Week

You have to appreciate the struggle just as much as you love the reward. It's impossible to get to your peak if you avoid the climbing. It's impossible to experience the success by running from the struggles. Understand, growing pains are a part of the growth process. In order to get to it, you have to be willing to BREAK THROUGH IT. Be resilient today!
