PTA Bookfair
Kolmar Avenue Elementary School recently witnessed a spectacular PTA-organized book fair that showcased a rich tapestry of books suitable for all age groups. Dedicated PTA members transformed the school gym into a reader's paradise, ensuring students and parents had access to a diverse range of literary treasures. The event not only promoted a love for reading but also provided an excellent opportunity for community bonding. A heartfelt thank you to everyone involved for making this event a resounding success!
Amplify Core Knowledge Language Arts (CKLA) Parent Hub
Did you know that this year all D123 schools are implementing the Amplify CKLA language arts curricular resource?
As part of the adoption, K-5 D123 families have access to the Amplify CKLA Caregiver Hub which is a dedicated platform designed to support families and caregivers in helping students engage with the Amplify Core Knowledge Language Arts (CKLA) program. This hub provides resources, guides, and tools that assist students in their English Language Arts journey from Grades PreK-5. It includes a range of resources such as Knowledge Builder videos, a Sound Library for younger students, the Vocab App for Grades 3-5, recorded daily read-alouds, and more. The purpose of the Caregiver Hub is to offer families an organized, comprehensive set of tools and information to effectively support their children's learning at home, ensuring they make the most of the CKLA program.
