What's Happening at Trollwood?

After years of anticipation, Trollwood's 2023 Mainstage Musical Singin' in the Rain finally crossed the finish line as it wrapped up with it's final performance on Saturday, July 29. This week, the cast and crew worked hard on strike and put the final (rain)bow on Singin' in the Rain with the Mainstage Musical Production Party on Thursday.

The Totally Trollwood Musical cast wrapped up its production with four incredible performances of Disney's Frozen Jr. on Tuesday and Wednesday at Fargo North High School. Audiences loved the performances filled with classic songs from the beloved musical.

The opening of Trollwood Children's Theatre's production of Disney's 101 Dalmatians Kids is right around the corner! The students have been having a blast as they grow as performers and they are ready to share the fruits of their work during the performances next Tuesday, August 8 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.

The Trollwood Players have written a collection of hilarious sketches and are ready to make their audiences laugh. The Best of Trollwood Sketch Comedy opens next week with performances at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, August 9 and Thursday, August 10.

ArtSpark wrapped up its summer last Friday, July 28 with four performances by the students in Grades K-4. It is always a wonderful experience to see Trollwood's youngest students take the stage and get their first taste of performing for an audience.

- SUMMER SNAPSHOTS -

Disney's Frozen Jr.

The cast and crew of Totally Trollwood Musical put on a spectacular run of four performances of Disney's Frozen Jr. this week! They started off the week with an incredible dress rehearsal on Monday and carried all of that momentum into four absolutely top-notch performances on Tuesday and Wednesday. - MAINSTAGE MUSICAL 2023 -

Singin' in the Rain Production Party

Everybody associated with the Mainstage Musical, including cast, crew, orchestra, parents, volunteers, and more, was invited to the Singin' in the Rain Production Party on Thursday. They enjoyed an awards ceremony, a recognition of the seniors, a number of moving speeches, a gut-busting hilarious Parents Skit, and enjoyed each others' company one final time. - SNAPSHOTS TAKE 2 -

ArtSpark Grades K-2

ArtSpark finished the summer with a bang as the young students joined us on the Trollwood campus last week for the final week of ArtSpark. There were two classes of Grades K-2 students this week. One class, taught by Madi Goerig and April Aamold, performed Wooley Cat's Musical Theater. The other, taught by Kyle Berkley and Ayden Smith performed Sister Frogs. Check out pictures below!

The Best of Trollwood Sketch Comedy

The Trollwood Players will have the audience rolling in the aisles with the rip-roaring hilarity of The Best of Trollwood Sketch Comedy at 7 p.m. next Wednesday and Thursday, August 9 and 10! The show features a series of sketches written and performed by Trollwood students themselves!

Disney's 101 Dalmatians Kids

Trollwood Children's Theatre is set to perform Disney's 101 Dalmatians Kids NEXT WEEK on August 8, with performances at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. The cast is hard at work in rehearsal preparing to perform the show. Check out photos from rehearsal below!

ArtSpark - Grades 3-4

There were two sections of Grades 3-4 ArtSpark here at Trollwood last week. One of the classes, taught by Rachel Gillen and Kelsey Elliason, looked to the sky as they performed Weird World of Weather. The other class, taught by Mariah Schafer and Hannah Swanson, took to the high seas during their performance of Pirates! The Musical. Check out photos below!
