Principal's Message

Welcome to February, Wildcats!

We're getting closer and closer to the end of 2nd trimester everybody. Please make sure you're taking the time to check in with your child's teacher to request additional help, ask questions or discuss any missing assignments. Please reach out before March when we close the trimester and send out new student report cards. Please CLICK HERE if you'd like information about homework help through our ASES program.

Just in case you didn't know, please congratulate your child on making it to the 100th day of school! The official 100th day of school will be Tuesday, February 9th.

Thank you for all of your hard work during distance learning. We are stronger TOGETHER!

Character Counts Trait of the Month: Caring

During the month of February, we'll be celebrating the character trait of "caring." Please feel free to wear a top/shirt in any shade of red on Character Counts Fridays this month.

Spelling Bee Winners

Congratulations to all of the Spelling Bee contestants who competed on Thursday, February 4th. After 16 rounds of competition and 106 words spelled, our top two finishers were:

1st Place: Lillian P. (Mrs. Ward-3rd grade)
2nd Place: David D. (Mrs. Johnsen-4th grade)

Thank you to our Queen Bees (Mrs. Keelan, Mrs. Johnsen, Mrs. Fullmer and our student teacher, Alejandra Rivera) for coordinating the event and connecting students to Williams School.

100th Day of School

I can't believe that we've already reached the 100th day of school! Congratulate your child on making it to this milestone. Please enjoy the company of your family and friends whether in real life or virtually during the upcoming long weekend.

Construction at Williams School

Please excuse our mess as we work with our construction partners to improve the electrical system, fire alarms and have air conditioning installed in all of our classrooms. Our school improvements are all thanks to special bond funds that were voted on by our community to improve facilities and school safety of all of our Wildcats.
