Hello to our wonderful Holy Cross Catholic School Community! The school year is quickly approaching and you can hear the buzz of the school year throughout the building. Teachers and staff are working diligently to prepare for another fun-filled school year.
As you have no doubt heard by this point, the Johnson County Board of County Commissioners passed a mandate yesterday. We will be updating our Reopening Plans next week and hope to get that to you as soon as possible. Our philosophy from last year will remain, the health and safety of our students, staff, and parents takes precedence. School will look and feel as normal as possible while continuing to protect our students and staff social and emotional well being. We have no doubt that our students will be resilient and navigate this school year as they did previous years.
I encourage everyone to make every effort to understand and respect all perspectives so we can find a path moving forward that will keep us united in our mission of educating all of God’s children. Thank you for your continued prayers and support during another interesting start to a school year.
Don’t forget about Sign Up Day on Monday, August 9, 2021. Session 1 is from 9am-12pm and Session 2 is from 5:30-7:30pm. We strongly encourage masks during this time. Looking forward to seeing everyone and having a great day preparing for another great school year!
