Update/ School News
CRHS was happy to welcome the current 8th grade class to visit our amazing academic programs last week!
Scheduling for the 24-25 school year starts now. Check your email for instructions from your school counselor.
Choptank Dental is available for services at CRHS starting in March. See Nurse Hoffman for more details.
Junior NHS members are hosting a book drive to refill the little libraries of Southern Caroline County. Drop off a book for any age reader in the book bin by the front office.
Congratulations to the Indoor Track Team for a strong showing in the State Championships:
Our girls 4x8 relay placed 8th in the state - Chaney Paul, Abbie Gunnarson, Clarissa Peugh, Sadie Prettyman
Our girls 4x4 relay placed 10th in the state - Clarissa Peugh, Lila Schreifer, Addison Claytor, Sadie Prettyman
Addison Claytor placed 17th in the state in high jump
Jackson Jean placed 11th in the state in high jump
Chaney placed 14th in the state in the 500m
This is out of 49 teams in our 1A classification in the state. We are so incredibly proud of the work ALL of our athletes put into this season and to make it to states...let alone place in their first ever year as a program is mindblowing!!

Spring Sports Begin
Spring sports start on Friday 3/1/24. You must have a 2.0 GPA (grades get captured on Thursday). The following items must be completed in order to be able to try out:
1. Physical Form Link (All physicals are good for one calendar year from the date
the Doctor puts on the form)

before trying out. New registration opens June 1, 2023.
Graduation Spotlight
Graduation Spotlight Class of 2024
** Graduation Rehearsal will be held at CRHS on May 29, 2024. Seniors are expected to attend. Tickets will be distributed after the senior lunch. SENIORS SHOULD NOT PLAN TO WORK ON THIS DAY. TICKETS WILL NOT BE DISTRIBUTED EARLY. ASK FOR THE DAY OFF NOW TO AVOID PROBLEMS LATER!!
**Graduation will be held on May 30, 2024 at 6pm in the CRHS Auditorium. This is a ticketed event. More details will be shared in the coming months.
** If you still need to order your cap and gown, you have two options.

2. See Mrs. France at school to place your order
I will be meeting with students who have still not ordered at the beginning of semester 2. The cost of the cap and gown unit is $58.25 (including tax).
Scheduling for 24-25 School Year
Students, scheduling for next year's courses is happening now! Check your email for all the details and resources. Course requests are due by March 11th. See your school counselor for help.
Math Tutoring Available
Mrs. France is available for math tutoring after school until 4pm on the following dates: 2/20, 2/21, 2/22, 2/23, 2/27, 2/29. Please make sure you have a ride waiting at 4pm.
