This April, along with other students across the state and nation, our students will take the CMAS assessments in Language Arts and Math. In addition, 5th grade students will take assessments in the area of Science. We will be giving the assessments beginning April 11. The testing window runs from April 11th-22nd.

We ask that you avoid making appointments or having your student out of school on the days listed below. Please note that if a student misses a testing session he/she will have to make the session up on a different day.

Testing Window Math (3rd, 4th and 5th)

Testing Window ELA (3rd, 4th and 5th)

April 14, 15, 18

Testing Window Science (5th)

9:45-11:25

April 19, 20, 21

Make-ups will take place on April 22, 25, 26, 27 and 28

During state testing, technology such as cell phones, Apple watches, etc. will be collected and stored in the office as they are not allowed in testing locations. Please encourage your child to leave these items at home if possible.

Students will be using their iPads to test this year. Please ensure that you student comes to school with a fully charged iPad every day.

Innovation Academy is an exciting summer program, taught by St. Vrain Valley School District educators with a background in STEM and design thinking. They are supported by a group of highly motivated Innovation Center PTECH students. Innovation Academy fosters a foundation of critical thinking through inquiry-based learning and uses the design-thinking process to create a community of learners who will think globally and collaboratively to develop innovative approaches to problem-solving.
