CHECK OUT WHAT'S HAPPENING!
MORA SCHOOLS ARE PRODUCING SOLAR ENERGY!
Minnesota Honor Society Induction Ceremony
On November 27th, the Minnesota Honor Society proudly welcomed 31 exceptional new members from Mora High School. This brings the total MHS membership to an impressive 89 students! This achievement is a testament to the commitment, scholarship, and leadership demonstrated by our students. We applaud each member for their dedication to excellence and the values upheld by the Minnesota Honor Society. Congratulations to the inductees, and a heartfelt thank you to all members for contributing to the academic success and positive spirit of our school community!
St. Lucia Tradition Shared with Elementary Students
We're delighted to share that MHS students are spreading the magic of the season by reading the story of St. Lucia to our elementary students. This cherished Swedish tradition is a beautiful testament to the power of sharing cultures and creating lasting connections.
Mora High School Volunteers
As of today, our MHS volunteers have generously contributed an impressive total of 110+ hours to our school community. A heartfelt thank you to these remarkable men and women for their unwavering commitment and selfless dedication. Your time and efforts play a crucial role in keeping Mora Schools vibrant and thriving. We are truly grateful for the positive impact you bring to our learning environment.
MARK YOUR CALENDARS!
Building Communication and Collaboration Skills
Students in Mrs. Sjodin's 7th grade Focus Class worked together to draw pictures using a marker that was tied to strings! No one was allowed to touch the marker, so the drawings took a lot of positive communication and collaboration. It was a challenge, but students worked very well together to accomplish the goal!
Building Confidence Through Reading
Mrs. Bursell's students have been on an inspiring journey, dedicating their time to empower pre-readers through engaging activities. By reading to the youngest learners, they have not only shared the joy of stories but have also played a crucial role in building confidence.
THE MORA SCHOOLS EAGLE HAS LANDED!
We are delighted to share the special news that the majestic eagle from the old Mora High School has found its new home at our brand-new building! This cherished symbol of our history has been carefully preserved, thanks to the exceptional work of Country Construction of Mora.
A heartfelt thank you to Country Construction for their superb craftsmanship and dedication to preserving a piece of our school's legacy. The eagle stands as a testament to the continuity of our educational journey and the values that bind us together.
