We are hosting back-to-school parent meetings before children return to school to make sure everyone knows and understands the expectations for the 23-24 school year.

At these meetings, we will;

• Review drop-off and pick-up procedures. We are updating our School Pass system to allow for Geo-Fencing, which will automatically enter your students' number when you are in the range of the school. This will speed up the process and allow for your child to be notified as soon as you are in the range of the school.
• Review the dress code for the year. We have updated the dress code for next year to allow either khaki or navy bottoms.
• Review the Code of Conduct
• Receive the Parent/Student Handbook for reference throughout the year.
• Sign up for the Parent Portal - where all you student information, including report cards will be housed.
• Meet grade-level teachers, and discuss the upcoming year and their goals for your scholars.
• Sign up for the Parent Advisory Council or PAC. Our PAC is made up of parents and guardians with common interests. They desire to maintain an active parent community, help ensure a parent culture that impacts our students' education, and help inspire a positive school culture. This parent group aims to meet regularly to plan and host actions/activities to achieve the goals they have created.
• Meeting Dates: 8/29 and 8/31. These are the same meeting being held on different days to accommodate your schedule.

Dress Pants - do not include denim, ripped material, leggings, or jeggings. Dress pants would be made of cotton, polyester blend, or wool.

Dress Shorts - must be made of dress pant materials and have at least a 7-inch inseam; the bottom must be hemmed (no cut-offs).

Dress Skirts - must be made of dress pant materials and have at least a 9-inch inseam; the bottom must be hemmed (no cut-offs).

Short-Sleeve Polo shirts - students should not wear any visible shirt underneath their polo. If students are cold, they can wear a school sweatshirt.

Clothing that is ripped, cut, slashed, or has holes, is prohibited, even on dress-down days. Clothes with rips that are filled underneath are not allowed.

Footwear: Shoes or Sneakers

• Rubber Bottom Shoes - appropriate for running and playing

• Cotton, leather, or man-made leather, solid uppers

• Shoes must have enclosed heels and toes.

• No sandals, slides, slippers, high heels, house shoes, moccasins, boots, flip-flops, rubber body shoes, or Crocs are allowed.

• These footwear requirements are due to safety issues.

Please ensure you come into the school if anything changes with your students' personal information. To be fully registered, even returning students, we need proof of current address and a working phone number. We need updated medical information, including physicals and shots.

If you are unsure if we have the correct and up-to-date information, check with the office to see if what we have is accurate. It is very hard to communicate and send home information if we do not have current information.
