Williamston Primary "Tiger News"

1. Car rider drop off will begin each morning at 7:30am. All student will need to stay in their vehicles until a staff Member directs them to begin entering the building.

2. All 1st & 2nd grade students that are eating breakfast will report to the Cafeteria and those student who will not be eating breakfast at school will report directly to class. All kindergarten students will report to class and will eat breakfast with their class.

3. School begins each day at 7:50am.

4. All students will need to arrive to school before the 7:55am tardy bell.

5. Students will need to adhere to the MCS dress code policy starting on Monday 8/23. Students are allowed to wear any solid color polo shirt and khaki, black, or navy pants, skirts or shorts. Students are not allowed to wear sweat pants or hoodies. Solid color leggings are only to be worn under a skirt or shorts.

6.All WPS students are encourage to bring their own water bottles to school. All water fountains are still turned off.

7. Students will not be permitted to be signed out between 2:15 and 2:45.

8.During afternoon pickup parents are to remain in their vehicles and in the car pickup line. Parents are not permitted to walk up to the school building and get their child.

9. Car riders will be dismissed to load vehicles at 2:40.

10. All buses will depart campus by 2:35.

Monday August 23-Thursday August 26 Pre-K and Kindergarten students will be on a staggered entry. During these four days parents will be allowed to escort the Pre-k and Kindergarten student to class. Thursday August 23 will be the final day parents will be allowed to escort there Pre-k or Kindergarten student to class. Friday (8/27/21) will be Independence Day and parents will not be allowed to escort students to class.

Parents please join us for our first PTA Meeting of the 2021-2022 school year. We will be meeting face to face in our Multipurpose Room. Mask will be required for all attendees. We are excited about working with all of our parents of WPS and we look forward to seeing your there.

Greetings Williamston Primary Tiger Family,

It is with great pride and excitement that I join Williamston Primary School as your new Principal. I look forward to partnering with you to ensure all children are celebrated and supported. Together, we will ensure that we maintain our tradition of excellence and community that makes Williamston Primary such a special place.

This marks my 15th year in education. As an educator, I am driven by the individual success and growth of every student. I have devoted my career to educating, inspiring, and advocating for students, both as a classroom teacher and as an administrator. I am excited to bring my passion, enthusiasm and experience to cultivate the unique educational programs that Williamston Primary has to offer. Above all, I am excited to observe, listen, learn, and understand what makes Williamston Primary thrive.

At the heart of my practice is building strong relationships with the staff, students, and families I serve. I look forward to listening to your ideas and vision for our school and collaborating with each of you to support our sense of community here at Williamston Primary. As your principal, I will strive to ensure that all families feel welcome and connected to our school family.
