Mr. Posick's Friday email

Our choirs and bands have been working all year to prepare for Tuesday night's concerts. If you missed hearing them perform at the Merton tree lighting on Tuesday next Tuesday is your chance. Mr. Werni and Mr. Jupp do an incredible job helping our musicians showcase their talents. The choirs will be performing at 5:30 and the bands will be performing at 7:00. I hope that you can make it!

Just a reminder, that the first PreACT is this Saturday, December 7th. The registration deadline has passed, but you should receive details regarding testing via an email from Arrowhead.

The January 4th PreACT has a registration deadline of December 21st.

If you have not heard about Emma, she was an 8 year old that had a brain tumor and passed away November 19th. We are trying to get all of the items on the wish list below to support Emma’s Family. Please share this list with anyone you know would participate. Please bring your items to school and place them in the box in the commons. You can also email svolley@uwalumni.com and she will arrange a date where we will come pick up the supplies if you can not bring it to school. Please make sure all items are new or not used. Thanks to your generosity and gift wrapping skills, the PTO provides an amazing lunch and the gift of wrapping presents on Tuesday, December 17th. Please use this link to sign up to donate your skills. The PTO and I thank you, and so does our staff!

Our Merton 5th grade Girl Scout Troop 6380 were chosen to decorate a Christmas tree at Milwaukee County Zoo. All our girls helped to make ornaments with a Small Mammal themed tree. Below is a picture of them adding the final touches. Everyone can visit the tree. It's located in the US Bank Entrance building.
