End of Year Celebration π₯³π
We still have quite a few options open for donations to our End of Year Party!!
We are so excited to celebrate these kiddos and their growth & accomplishments from this year! Join us for a picnic breakfast on May 23rd @ 8:30AM. We will start the celebration as a grade level for breakfast, then we will go back to our classrooms and reminisce on the memories we have shared this year. We would love for you to come and celebrate this AMAZING year!
We plan on concluding our celebrations around 10:00 so that the office isn't crazy busy with people coming in and out. Teachers will have sign out sheets if you choose to take your student home early to start summer break. We truly cannot thank you enough for your continued support and sharing your child with us this year! π₯°
We will have our picnic outside in the Grassy Knoll & Playground area. Check out the sign up genius to help us out in celebrating these scholars!

What are we learning?
It's our last week of school, we will be reminiscing on all of our memories from the year. We will also be enjoying the last few days with each other, some students and teachers won't be on Fuller's campus next year. We have enjoyed having your students in our classes and wish them nothing but the best for their journeys onward.
More information
If you are wanting more information or are curious on what is expected of your second grader, please check out these resources.
Please keep in mind that the rigor is increasing throughout the year and will benefit your student for the upcoming grades. If you have a concern about your child's academic performance or levels, please reach out to your child's teacher to see their in-sight and what steps/resources could be available.
TEKS: These are the standards that teachers use to plan out our lessons. These are sometimes written in what we like to call 'Teacher-eeze'. This just means if you don't have an education background, it could/may be difficult to understand what is actually being asked. Be warned, this is a large document.. https://tea.texas.gov/system/files/grade2-teks-082022_0.pdf
Lead4Ward: This is a resource that has more information on the TEKS as well as other resources that you may find valuable. Please note that this link has information on all grade levels, you will need to locate 2nd grade, or which ever you are interested in learning more about. https://lead4ward.com/resources/
Important Information
- IDs or car tags will be checked at dismissal for car and walk ups.
- When in the car line, if you could... take down your tag after your student has gotten in the vehicle. This allows us to easily verify which cars have been loaded and can be exited from the line. (especially in the 1-5 car line as we run 2 lanes)
- Transportation changes must be sent to FESTransportation@aubreyisd.net by 2PM daily. Teachers CANNOT authorize transportation changes. Please send the changes to the above email BEFORE 2:00PM.
- No early check outs after 2:30PM.
- Parents may pay for school lunches online by accessing the myschoolbucks.com tab located on the Aubrey ISD website. Applications for meal benefits may be returned to the campus office.
For attendance questions:
PEIMS Clerk: Shea Harrison sharrison@aubreyisd.net
This camp is for ALL students.
