Dear DRRHS Falcon Community:
Our first annual Green and Gold Night is 6 days away! Many faculty, coaches, and students are coming together to showcase the advantages our comprehensive high school has to offer, and we are so grateful! We invite former, current, and future Falcon families to attend. Come celebrate your DRRHS Community! Please review the schedule of events linked below.
In addition to Green and Gold Night, we are preparing students for midterm exams. Please read more about midterms in the "Falcon News Midterms Edition" linked below.
Lastly, yet most important, we are coordinating with local law enforcement to conduct a safety drill this Wednesday, January 18th. The drill will be a "Hold and Secure, SIlent and Invisible," which means students and staff will stay where they are (or seek shelter in the nearest classroom if they are in the hall) when the drill is announced, move away from windows and doors, and remain silent until the drill over. We will NOT be barricading doors during this drill. We ask for your support in talking with your children about the importance of treating drills as actual events in order to maximize our preparedness.
As always, if there's anything our team can do to improve the students' experience at DR, we want to hear from you.
Sincerely,
Gail DeCecco, Principal
Donald Izzo, Assistant Principal for Grades 10 & 12
Ai-Ling Chang, Assistant Principal for Grades 9 & 11
John Herald, CTE Director
Doug Kelley, Dean of Activities and Athletics

The Family Portal can be accessed from any device with an internet connection, including smartphones, giving families the flexibility to stay informed from anywhere. A single login will allow families to view information for all of your children regardless of the school.
