Peaceleaders are student mentors who are selected by their classmates to be the PeaceLeaders of the building. Their mission is to improve school climate and help our school community. We are so proud of the large number of candidates who delivered outstanding speeches. It was a very close election and all the students were deserving of this honor. We encourage those students who were not chosen to run again in the winter.

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. To commemorate this, Marshfield Public Schools has gone for the gold! Our generous students were very excited about this important cause. As always, a special thank you to all who helped fill our golden boot. We collected $744.52 for South Shore Action for Hope, who raise funds for pediatric cancer research.

Picture make-up/retake day is scheduled for Thursday, October 19 for any student who was absent on Picture Day or who was not satisfied with his/her original photo. For all picture retakes please return the original portrait package.

New families should have received their login information via email from our Aspen team. Please check your email for your credentials. All families can contact aspen@mpsd.org if you have any questions accessing the parent portal.

GWS will continue to use the PickUp Patrol (PUP) App to help us better manage our dismissal process. PUP allows parents to electronically make daily dismissal changes from a computer or smart phone. Families that have not already registered will receive an email with login information.

Every three years our parent/guardian CORI forms need to be updated in order to volunteer at school events. This year marks the beginning of a three year term, so every parent/guardian that would like to volunteer needs to complete a new form this year.

Please click here for a typable form and submit by bringing it to the front office with your license. You do have the option to have the form notarized and sent in with a copy of your license if you cannot come to the school.

In this fun, interactive program, Comic Mime Robert Rivest will take us through a series of spooky yet silly Halloween stories. We will also learn how to do some mime tricks and treat our friends to funny mime illusions and hilarious Halloween characters. Come in costume, Robert will use his mastery of mime and movement to help us move and act like our costume characters.

This program is best for school aged children and their families!
