November means A Time to be Thankful

It's hard to believe that it's already November, but, here we are! November is a time to give thanks and appreciate people, places, and things that we are fortunate to have. At Silas, we are thankful to have the opportunity to shape the future with our amazing Wildcat students! We hope you and your families have time to stop and give thanks for what is important to you this season!

Cold Weather Approaches!

The arrival of November means the colder weather is here! Make sure your students are ready for the colder weather! Bringing along a hoody, sweatshirt, or a jacket to help fight the colder temperatures, and can be taken off when/if the temperature rises during the day. Please let us know if you need assistance in acquiring these clothing items!

Daylight Savings Time Ends November 7th!

Don't forget to turn back your clocks one hour on November 6th before going to bed. If you have children who struggle with time changes, be sure to talk with your students about the upcoming time change. You may want to practice earlier bed times to help with the time shift as well.

Parent Teacher Conferences November 4th and 9th

Parent/Teacher Conferences are Thursday 11/4 and Tuesday 11/9 from 3:30 pm until 7pm. Conferences can be made remotely (google meet/zoom), but face to face conferences are highly recommended. Please contact your student's teacher about conference sign up if you have not been contacted by them already.
