Welcome Back and Handbooks

Welcome back or if you're new, WELCOME to choir!


I am so looking forward to this school year and all of the music we will be making together! We have several new opportunities and events this year. A physical copy of the handbook and calendar of events should be coming home with each student with all of the information for concerts and performances for the whole year listed. Below I have shared a link to the respective handbooks that you can click on electronically so that you can always have access to it. It will also be available on the Centerburg Music Blog.

Students and Parents are responsible to review the handbook and return the Sign-off form to Mrs. Culbertson. The form is for a grade, so make sure that it gets signed and returned.

Nov 9 District X Honor Choir (those middle and high school students accepted by audition)

Nov 15-16 Fundraiser: Buckeye Making Weekend, MS/HS Cafeteria

Dec 16 Holiday Choir Concert 7:00 pm, MS/HS Auditorium (ALL CHOIRS REQUIRED)

Feb 8 HS Solo & Ensemble, Granville HS (those interested in participating)

Feb 29 Choral Cantata 6:00pm MS/HS Auditorium (ALL CHOIR MEMBERS REQUIRED)

Mar 20-22 Musical, MS/HS Auditorium (those accepted by audition)

May 3 Music and Arts Festival 6:00pm-9:00pm, HS Gym (ALL CHOIRS REQUIRED)

May 3 3rd Annual Mattress Fundraiser

May 17 Graduation 3:00 pm, HS Gym (ALL HIGH SCHOOL CHOIR MEMBERS REQUIRED)

May 25 Memorial Day Parade (Middle C)

All of these events have been given to you well in advance so that you can make sure that there are no conflicts.

Sign Up for Remind!

Remind is a texting service that we use to communicate with students and parents. We use it to send out reminders of events or when we are on a field trip. The photo has the directions to get set up with the Choir Remind!

Middle School Polo

This year the middle school choir and band students will wear a polo for performances. If you follow this link it will take you to an online order form where you choose the size you need and can pay electronically. Students will wear the polo for all of the years they are in middle school performing arts.

Event Information

Gay Street UMC Invitational Concert

The high school choirs have been invited by our very own Lucas Weiss (our accompanist) to come and sing at the Gay Street United Methodist Church where he is the choir director. The students will perform a concert open to the community. Please plan to attend this unique event!
