Safety Week Success
Thank You Food Services Staff For an Awesome National School Lunch Week!
This Veterans Day, LMMS, LMHS and AFROTC students will set up a field of American flags to honor America’s veterans and raise critical funds to support our ill and injured heroes. Each flag in the Field of Flags honors a different veteran. Behind each flag is a unique story about courage and freedom. A story about sacrifice: it's a story worth honoring.
Little Miami Athletics is excited to announce the live streaming of selected athletic events. Not all events may be able to be viewed due to conference or state restrictions. The platform will be free for the remainder of the year as we improve the site.
Little Miami Chamber of Commerce Board Candidate Night on October 16, 2023
On behalf of the Little Miami Area Chamber of Commerce, many of the people in our community would like to know each candidate's thoughts on issues facing the Little Miami School District and their goals if elected to the board. This will be a good opportunity for candidates to make themselves known to those in the community that you may otherwise not get a chance to meet.
Event Details
The forum is scheduled to begin at 6:00 PM and end promptly at 8:00 PM. After some brief introductions of those in attendance, candidates will start speaking at 6:15 PM. The questions and answers portion of the forum will end promptly at 7:45 PM after which each candidate will be given a brief opportunity to make a closing statement.
The forum will be moderated by an officer from the Chamber of Commerce. Each candidate will have time to make a personal statement, and each will be given time to answer prepared questions relevant to the role of a board member. Additional questions from those in attendance can also be asked.
WoodHenge: A Little Miami Podcast
The podcast is called WoodHenge, named after the ancient, fossilized structures buried under Little Miami High School. There are woodhenges worldwide, similar to stonehenges, but it's believed that the woodhenge buried under LM was left during the Hopewell era.
The point of the podcast's name is to show that we are "uncovering" the truth about Little Miami High School, just like woodhenge was uncovered!
This year's guests include Dr. Kevin Harleman, Mrs. Adrienne Sanders, Mr. Rob Mason, Jasmina Abduganieva and Alena Greulich.

Health Reminder!
As we are sure you all know, multiple illnesses are prevalent in our community. This is just a reminder that if you are ill/feeling sick, please stay home. If you have a fever, you must be fever-free for 24 hours without taking fever-reducing medication before returning. Please continue to do your part in protecting our students and staff against illnesses.
Attention 9th and 10th Grade Parents!
The results of this survey will be analyzed only in aggregate, meaning individual responses will be anonymous. The more people who participate, the more accurate the data will be. For that reason, we want to encourage everyone to take 12 minutes to weigh in with what is important to you and where you would like to see the career center focus its energy moving forward.
Thank you for a fun National School Lunch Week!

Fiscal Focus
Despite significant student enrollment growth over the last ten years, LM has strategically stretched out the funds generated by the passage of the 2011 Emergency Levy for more than ten years. This funding represents one-fifth of LM’s total operating budget and is a vital piece of the district’s financial health. These funds were renewed in November 2020.
However, with continued enrollment growth and increased demand for student supports, a request for new funds will need to be made of the community in the near future.

Imagination Library - ENROLL TODAY
DID YOU KNOW? By the age of three, a child’s brain is already 80% developed, and, by the time a child enters kindergarten, they must already know thousands of words in order to succeed in the classroom. Reading aloud to a child and giving them access to books is the best way to ensure they are prepared to enter kindergarten.
The Ohio Governor’s Imagination Library wants to start a new chapter in early childhood literacy throughout Ohio by providing families with books. With the goal of preparing students entering Kindergarten for success in the classroom, the Imagination Library program will send a customized book to your child each month from birth until age five. Sign up is easy and FREE! Give your Panther the gift of reading & enroll today.
