Superintendent Update
Caldwell Parish Schools
Greetings Team Caldwell!
It's hard to believe we are already near the end of September, but it sure is nice to feel the occasional crisp and cool autumn weather after such a hot August! We've had a very productive start to our school year, and I am so proud of how well everyone has adjusted to the changes brought on by restructuring our schools.
Our teachers, support staff and leaders have all pitched in to make the necessary adjustments, while ensuring students have a successful 1st 9-weeks. Our bus operators have worked out the kinks and transportation seems to be running smoothly. Our parents/guardians have adjusted to the car line protocols beautifully and the PTOs have been amazing. Most importantly, our students are thriving in their classrooms and have adjusted to all of the changes so well! Thank you all for making this transition as smooth as possible! I'm sure we will learn so much this year, which will only make us stronger and better in the years to come.
Football season is in full swing from CPHS to CPJH and our revamped Junior Sports League! It's exciting to see our newly renovated field be the hubbub of activity for the players, coaches, cheerleaders, dancers, band, colorguard and fans! We are so blessed to live and work in this community and be a part of TEAM CALDWELL!
Looking forward to supporting our Spartans and future Spartans!

CTE Spotlight
Mr. Casey Massel used the Marshmallow Challenge in his Entreprenuership II class to build teamwork. The Marshmallow Challenge is a team-building exercise that requires a group of students to build a tower out of spaghetti noodles, tape and string that will support the weight of a marshmallow. This activity challenges the team members to overcome the power struggles, leadership, and communication issues that every team must conquer to be successful.
