Good afternoon Hagood families!

We cannot wait to host our first OPEN HOUSE, this Thursday evening from 4-6 pm. We love opening our doors for all families to come in and see what our daily routines consist of. We know our school/family partnership is most valuable in the lives of our children! Please plan to come visit this week if your family is available. Moo's Creamery will also be on campus for families that would like to purchase an ice cream treat as one of our PTO fundraisers. We cannot wait to see everyone!

Important Reminders:

Please do not sign-out students after 2 pm. Our students and teachers begin preparing for dismissal after this time and changes/additional transitions after 2 pm often cause confusion and miscommunication, posing a possible safety concern. Thank you!
Lost & Found - please remind students to check the lost and found located outside of the gym if they are missing a jacket/sweatshirt/lunchbox/water bottle/etc. Also, feel free to check this area during Open House.

Important Dates:

Good News Club is every Monday afternoon, 2:15-3:45 pm. Pick-up in the car loop.

YAMS Parent Meeting - Tuesday, September 26th, 5-6 pm in the Cafeteria.
1st YAMS Student Session - Tuesday, October 3rd

1st Chorus Meeting - Thursday, September 28th, concludes at 3:30 pm

Volunteer Training during Open House - Thursday, September 28th, 5:30-5:50 pm, Location- Hagood Library

10/23 - Book Fair Opens (open all week), Spirit Week Begins- Wear Red Day

10/24 - Crazy Hair and Sock Day

10/25 - Wear Sunglasses and a Neon shirt

10/26 - Wear a University or College shirt

10/27 - Book Parade, Book Fair Ends, Spirit Week Ends -Dress up with your class for Book Character Day (each homeroom will choose a class book, teachers to communicate with parents by Oct. 2)
