We hope everyone had a wonderful winter break full of laughs, smiles, family and friends. It was exciting to have our students back in the building sharing all of their adventures with one another. We are looking forward to a great second half of the school year!

Take a look at all of the fun we had this week!

Please make note that the buttons to ring the PALS room and the Evergreen office have switched location. The button to gain entry to PALS in on the top. The button to gain entry to the Evergreen office is on the bottom. We have made this switch so that students are able to reach the office button if they are outside and need to contact the office.

Thank you for a successful e-learning day today. Please remember that in order for your child to be considered in attendance in school today, they need to complete the assignments provided to them by their classroom teacher. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to your child's teacher, Mrs. Agres or Mrs. Smith.

We got our first taste of being able to really play in the snow during outdoor recess this week. The kids had a blast, but many came back inside quite wet and uncomfortable, even though they had on socks, snow pants, boots and gloves. We encourage you to send to school extra clothes (socks, pants, underwear) so that your child can change into dry clothes if needed.

Please make sure your child is bringing their device back to school every day fully charged!

The PTA has coordinated new Evergreen spirit wear for purchase. Orders can be shipped home or be picked up at the SBI location.

If you are visiting Evergreen for a meeting or volunteering, you will need to provide your driver's license every time you are coming in. We have a new security system that provides an additional layer of security for adults that are coming into the building. Thank you very much!!

Please make sure that dogs and pets are not on Evergreen property during arrival and dismissal. This includes the grassy area by the marquee in the front of the building. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding!

If your child is going to be absent from school for any reason, please call the Evergreen Office, 630-876-7810, to report your child's absence no later than 8:00 AM the day of the absence. Please only email your child's classroom teacher about an absence after you have called the office. You can leave a message about an absence on the attendance line at anytime.
