Note from Mrs. Dodd
Can you believe it is November? We have had a wonderful school year so far. Our fundraiser was a huge success! Thank you to all of you for helping with that. I enjoyed having lunch with our students that were top 10 in donations. We also had fun blowing toilet paper and dumping slime for fundraiser donations. You can see the videos on our Facebook page. As we get closer to the winter, please keep in mind that we still go outside for recess and some of our science lessons. A jacket and/or coat will help keep your child warm. Thank you.

Parent Teacher Conferences- Thank you for all the yummy food donations for teachers! They really appreciated it!
Spangles Night Out- Our first restaurant night for this year will be at Spangles on November 18th. Watch for your student to wear a reminder sticker home that night. Other restaurant night dates will be announced soon!
Amazon Teacher Wish Lists: Want to help provide things for the classrooms but don’t know what teachers need? We have set up a wish list for each of our teachers to fill out as they have needs through Amazon. If you are interested, please see our PTO Facebook page.
BOXTOPS!! Since the Boxtop company has switched from clipping BoxTops to scanning your receipt through their app, we have seen a drastic decrease in participation. PLEASE consider downloading the APP and taking the time to scan your receipt when you shop! It’s super simple and helps our schools a lot!
Thank you for all your support! It really does MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

The end of October saw the return of the “Haunted Library” at both the primary and intermediate schools. A heartfelt thank you goes out to the many generous folks who donated--or loaned--us their time, talent, and Halloween treasure to make the Haunted Libraries a wonderful success once again. It was a blast!
Happy Reading!
