- Coats for Kids: Applications for coats for kids are available at the elementary office and must be returned by Friday, September 23rd. Coats for kids supply students with brand new coats for the winter. Thanks!
- Doors open at 8:20, and Dismissal is at 3:10
- WIN Room Clothes: We are looking for clothes donations (pants, shirts, etc.) for our WIN room. You can drop them off in the elementary office. Thank you
- Popcorn Fridays: Parent/Guardians, popcorn Fridays are back this year. Students will get a bag of popcorn one Friday of the month (usually the last Friday). We are asking for students to bring in $.25 per month to help offset the cost of the popcorn. This is not mandatory, and we thank you for your help!
- Drop-off Lane: Parents/Guardians! Please don't leave your vehicle in the drop-off lane, and please pull forward to allow other vehicles to enter. This WILL help the flow of traffic.
- Water Bottles: Please continue to send your child to school with a water bottle!
- No outside visitors are allowed to enter the building (parents included).
- Please be sure to contact the office and get the proper paperwork for any Medication disbursement or food modification forms for the kitchen. Medication can not be given without paperwork from the school signed by the physician. This includes Epi-pens and inhalers as well as prescribed and non-prescribed medication. The kitchen cannot accommodate any food modifications without the form from the school filled out by a physician as well.
- PTO: The PTO (parent-teacher organization) is looking for new parent recruits who want to be a part of a great group to enhance the school experience for all students! Please get in touch with Mr. Katona if you're interested in joining! Our next meeting will be Tuesday, October 4, at 6:30 pm.
- Open-toe sandals are not allowed in the elementary. Please monitor this and send your child with proper footwear (especially on Gym days).
COVID-19 Exposure Information
As we start the school year and students are together in the classroom, we are experiencing students and staff coming down with COVID-19. We are some things to know if your family is affected by COVID.
- If your child is positive: The student stays home for five days from the first day of the symptoms. The student can return to school on day 6 if their symptoms are improved. The students will need to wear a mask at school for days 6-10.
- If your child is in close contact with someone who is positive. The student can attend school if they do not have any symptoms. Parents are asked to monitor their symptoms for ten days.
