A Little Christmas Cheer

Parents and Guardians--


As we head into the thick of December, we will be looking to add a little fun and Christmas cheer. It is our hope to provide some good fun to our students while also keeping some normal in our day to get our learning goals accomplished.


Thank you for making this first semester as smooth as possible, for your continued support of our students and staff.

Wed., Dec. 9th: Christmas Tree Decorating

We will once again be looking to decorate our RVE Christmas Tree! Please send an ornament with your child for them to add to the tree. Decorating will take place on Dec. 9th. Ornaments can be sent with your child any time between Monday, Dec. 7 and Wed., Dec. 9th.

Thurs., Dec. 10th: Story Time

While I can't be there in person, I will be sharing a Christmas story with students via YouTube with our whole school! Be sure to ask your child what story they heard!

Fri., Dec. 11th: Ugly Christmas Sweater

Staff will be donning their best UGLY Christmas Sweater on Fri., Dec. 11th. We invite your child(ren) to join in the fun!

Thurs., Dec. 17: School-wide Decorating Contest

We'll get in the Christmas spirit with a little Christmas decor contest! Stay tuned for some pictures of our results! If you don't already follow us on Facebook, please do!

Wed. Dec. 23: Movie & PJ Day

While we can't go to the movie theatre this year as a school because of COVID, we are planning to provide a movie day with our kids before they go on break. We're thinking Polar Express style...so, send your kids to school in <school appropriate> PJs and we'll take care of the rest!

Wed., Dec. 23rd: 2-Hr Early Out

Reminder--We begin our Winter Break at 1:20 pm on Wednesday, Dec. 23rd. Please make the necessary arrangements in your schedule for students' early release.
