What great week at Patriot Nation! We are deep into January and we have a few changes to make to our calendar. Please see the notes below about some upcoming events in the near future. Next Thursday, we had originally schedule our annual Math, Makers and more event. At this time to ensure that we provide a quality and engaging event, we are going to be postponing. We will let you know the details as soon as possible. We also have early release and Valentine's Party's around the corner, so please mark your calendar's!

Our Jack PTA provides resources and opportunities for learning experiences, volunteering, and just plain fun! Please consider joining by going to http://www.jointpta.org. We love our amazing PTA and the support they provide for our Patriots!

Our very own Mr. Line was awarded a Grant from the TISD Foundation this week! This money will be used to purchase new equipment to upgrade our KJACK Live morning announcements. We are so excited to make this upgrade and can't wait to see how much it impact our Patriot Leaders! Way to Go Mr. Line!

Math, Makers and more, originally scheduled for January 27th, will be postponed to a later date at this time. In order to make sure we can provide a safe environment for this wonderful event, we have decided to look for a date in February. More details to come!

Mark your calendar's. We will be having another early release day on February 10th and No School on February 11th. We will follow the same schedule as we previous did with our walkers and car riders being released at 12:30 and the bus routes will run at 1:00.

Our Valentine's Party's this year will be held on February 10th for grades k-5 and on February 14th for Pre-K. Since we have a 3-day weekend and early release on the 10th, we felt like this would be the best time to have these! We look forward to seeing you here!

Lunch with a loved one is a wonderful tradition here at Jack! We normally have a Winter Book Fair at this time as well. We felt that it would be safer to postpone our Lunch With a Loved One to Coincide with our book fair to be held in March. More details to come!

Our educators are also encouraged to share what is going on in their classrooms using twitter so contact them to see if you can give them a follow! Please encourage family members to join, as it is a great way to connect to the learning inside our building from afar!
