Update January 6, 2022
Happy New Year Families!
Welcome back to school and Happy New Year! We hope you and your families were able to rest, recharge and enjoy time together. My sons are 19, 21, 24 and 26 and they all have busy lives, so it is always an accomplishment if I can get them to share a meal together!
This month with our Character Strong Program we will be focusing on HONESTY!
With COVID swirling around, please screen your children for any symptoms daily. If you are not sure what to do, please call us at 651-300-6300 to talk to our COVID Coordinator, Jessaca Karg. We also have rapid COVID tests available on site. We are also strongly encouraging vaccinations for anyone who can be vaccinated! We will continue to practice many layered mitigation strategies on the bus and at school each day.
We want to do a mid-year check to make sure everyone is getting communication from the school. We want to make sure every family is getting the communication they need through our JMS system and website.
Starting January 10th, we will be conducting our NWEA MAP (Measure of Academic Progress) Testing. During the month of January, every grade level will be participating in MATH AND READING assessments in our computer lab. This will give us progress data to inform our classroom and small group instruction for the second half of our school year.
Coming up on January 19, 2022 at 5:00 we will have our January School Board Meeting. Everyone is invited to attend either in person or virtually. At 6:00 there will be the Annual Meeting where the Annual Report and World's Best Work Force Report will be shared. Please join us!
Stay well...be safe, kind and responsible!

TO REQUEST A COVID 19 AT-HOME TEST
Good Afternoon Families/Buenas tardes familias
Currently, as you may all know- there is a limited supply of at home tests within the state of Minnesota. To help combat this and to keep track of how fast we are utilizing these rapid tests- we are implementing a new system for requesting a test. We are asking that families use this form to request tests for each of their students when needed. We will send home the appropriate tests needed per enrolled students per family. Up until this point we were able to provide tests for families, however due to limited supplies we can now only provide them for students. Please save the link below:
You can also find this form on our website under Current Families- COVID Coordinator.
Thank you!

¡Gracias!
REMINDER!!

If your student becomes a close contact with someone who tests positive with covid19 please contact with school for next steps. Stay safe and stay warm over break!
