Charity Drive

November 10-19, 2015

Starting November 10th through November 19th, there will be a competition between 7th period classes sponsored by student leadership. The challenge is for classes to collect various items to send overseas to the troops in Afghanistan. Some of the items recommended for donation include:

· Soap

· Towels

· Wash Rags

· Books (preferably action or mystery)

· Crossword Puzzle books

· Sudoku Books

· Ziplock baggies

· Packaged razors

· Band-aids

· Deodorant

· Wet Wipes

· Shampoo

· Conditioner

Bring these items to your 7th period class beginning next Tuesday. These will be sent to the troops in time for Christmas. Each item brought will count as one point, and the 7th period class with the most points will receive a pizza party hosted by the Charity Student Leadership Committee.

Students and teachers, our student leadership green team will be collecting your paper goods to recycle every other Thursday during 4th period beginning Thursday, November 12th. Please remember to put your box of recyclables outside of your classroom for them to collect. Let’s keep our campus a green, clean fighting machine. Go Roos!

9B won 20-14 with scores by Nate P.from Brock M., Gage C., and a fumble return for a touchdown by Carlos A. The game was sealed by an interception by Morgan K. Peyton H. and Roderick G. played well on defense.

9A lost in a hard fought game 22-7.

The one score was a pass from Lukas L. to Madison W. Cole Z. played very well on defense.
