September is Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month
September is Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month, and we want to go GOLD for the month of September.
The RHHS Beta Club is selling gold shoelaces in the school store for $5 per pair. All proceeds go to Go 4 the Goal—a nonprofit that donates money to local families dealing childhood cancer. The Wildcat Football team will be hosting a gold-themed game on September 22nd to recognize and promote pediatric cancer awareness. Already, our volleyball and softball teams and cheer squads have purchased laces to wear during the month of September. Anything you can do to help promote our project is appreciated. The link below may also be used for ordering laces if you would like to go GOLD with us!
The home game on the 22nd of September vs Lakeside will be our Gold Out game. The RHHS Touch Down Club wants to GOLD OUT the stands to raise awareness and funds for childhood cancer. One of our football players has a little brother who is fighting this courageous fight.
To support this cause, the TD Club is selling special t-shirts for everyone to wear to the game. Join us as we show support for all kids fighting this battle. All profits made from shirts will be donated to Childhood Cancer.
