Important Information for Our Wonderful Families

Please read carefully

Are you having trouble emailing your teachers? Make sure you choose the ALDCA email for each teacher. If you still have problems, please reach out to Tech Support: 866-512-2273.

Taking the practice tests will also help you to make sure you have:

1) changed your screen resolution to 1024X768 and make sure your scaling is not set above 100%

2) enabled pop-ups on Chrome and Firefox

3) downloaded the most recent version of Chrome and Firefox. Chrome has had the most success. It’s a good idea to make Chrome your default browser before the test. You can change it back after the test.

4) have a working webcam and microphone. (If your webcam and/or microphone do not work, please call tech support at 866-512-2273.

**Macbook users: Computers have to be updated to version 10.12 or higher.

*All of the tasks above must be done BEFORE your testing day.

Remember, learning coaches must be present during the test.

You do not have school on Labor Day, so you don't have to log in or do school work. However, it is a great time to catch up if you are behind. If you do work, please log the attendance time on Tuesday.

Logging In = Attending School

At ALDCA, logging into the OLS/OMS/OHS is equivalent to attending a class in a brick and mortar school. If your student doesn't log in, he/she can't access online lessons, materials, or Class Connect sessions. That's the same as not going to class in a brick and mortar setting. Make sure your student logs in every day. If your student is sick, please let his/her teachers know.
