Volunteer Central
It’s finally time for Grand Nationals!! We have some things that need to be taken care of before the band leaves for Indianapolis and also a few things that we need help with while we’re in Indianapolis.
- Monday we need help cleaning up the Props before they get loaded on the trucks to begin their journey to Indianapolis.
- Pit Crew needs a lot of help this week! Tuesday before we leave to load the trucks (We need A LOT more help for this please!). Thursday in Indianapolis to unload the trucks. And on Friday and (hopefully) Saturday to help get the equipment on and off the field at competition. We want the kids to have as little stress as possible when they’re getting ready to perform, so please come help us get them setup on the field so everything goes smoothly!
- We WILL be cleaning Contest Shoes in Indianapolis on Friday from 4-6. We only have a 2 hour window, so we need as many people as possible to make the work go quickly. See the signup for all details.
- Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who purchased items to help the chaperones restock! There are still a few things on their wishlist that they will need for Grand Nats, so it’s not too late to help, please go to their Amazon wishlist and help them out by ordering the items they need to continue taking care of our kids! https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/3TRNU01NRQ5RZ?ref_=wl_share
- If you have any questions reach out to Nikki Wilson at volunteers@hebronband.org

LISD Bond & VATRE Information
Election Day is Tuesday!
The Hebron Band Booster Club would like to let our parents know that the LISD Board of Trustees has voted to call for a $1.23B bond election and a voter-approved tax rate ratification election (VATRE). Both proposals will be up for voter approval on November 7th.
Registered voters residing within Lewisville ISD boundaries will be asked to consider a total of seven propositions that would generate additional funding to support educational programs and conduct maintenance, repairs and renovations across the district. If voters approve all six bond propositions (totaling $1.23B) and the VATRE, the total tax rate will be 10.6 cents lower than last year’s tax rate, a double-digit decrease in the total rate.
Learn more about the LISD bond package & VATRE at www.lisdbond.com
