Moore MST Magnet School

Please join us for our annual awards assemblies next week. These events are designed to recognize students for exceptional work throughout the school year. Your presence makes it even more special.

All visitors will be required to check in at the front office for campus events. Parents and visitors may complete this pre-check form to avoid long waits at the front desk during check-in next week. Present your driver's license or other approved ID when you arrive, and a pre-printed visitor badge will be issued.

Students first participated in a mini talk about characteristics of team work. Each group set parameters for working together and moderating their conversation and participation. The activity requires them to follow a set of rules with 12 strips of paper placed in a variety of configurations to make different numbers of squares. Working together to solve challenging problems...way to go Mustangs.

Algebra students using their STEM skills and the calculator to program lights, sounds, and the TI Rover.

8th Graders in Algebra design bungee jumping cords for Barbie! But safety first! Students test the stretched length of each rubber band, then develop equations to determine the number of rubber bands to include in the cord. Closest to the ground on the bungee jump wins!.
