Holiday Shop

The Holiday Shop is an opportunity for students to do their own shopping for their loved ones. It really is a joy to watch the kids think about others and pick out something all on their own. This happens during the school day. Teachers will let you know your child's specific day for being able to shop.


  • Friday, December 9th, Monday, December 12th and Tuesday, December 13th
  • Everything is $2
  • Send in the envelope with money and a list of who the student needs to buy for
  • Need donations of plastic Meijer/Walmart type bags
  • Need donations of brown paper lunch bags to wrap the gifts in

Hungry Howies

Congratulations to Mrs. Riekena's class, you guys were the winners of the November Hungry Howies night fundraiser and will be getting a pizza party. Thank you to everyone who ordered. We have not received our total yet, but I hear they were very busy that night. You guys rock!!! Our next Hungry Howies night is Monday, December 19th.

Skate Club

We are working on confirming dates for Skate Club 2023! These will be announced soon. I am hoping that many of you will join me with a pair of skates and a bicycle helmet to skate the hallways in the new year. Permission slips will be signed at the door when you arrive so you must walk your child in the first night they attend.

Mrs. Lambrix

This year is Amy's first year teaching second grade here at Central! She fits right in with our superstar second grade team with the enthusiasm and love she puts into her classroom. She has been teaching for ten years and it is clear that she brings many years of teaching experience with her to Central. When she is not at school, she really enjoys traveling with her family. Her favorite vacation was when she went to Scotland!!

Mrs. Carbary

Kelly is starting her eleventh year with Parchment schools and has been here at Central for 5 years. She LOVES being a second grade teacher and it is very clear as her classroom is "the happiest place on earth". Students love her because she is so kind and genuine. When she is not at school, she spends her time coaching the Parchment Varsity Cheer Team and of course spending time with her sweet new six month old baby boy!

Mr. Millet

Nic is in his tenth year of teaching second grade at Central Elementary! We love Nic here at Central because he is so down to earth. He brings the calm to both his classroom and Central as a whole. Nic speaks french very well and a fun fact is that he puts one french word on his spelling tests for his students to learn as well! We love having him here, even though he is a Packers fan.

Mrs. Sutton and Miss Shannon

Chris has been teaching in the Parchment School District for an amazing 30 years!! She started by interning and has done everything from long-term subbing, Physical Education and teaching multiple grades at Northwood and Central Elementary. After retiring from teaching in 2019, she decided to come back and now teaches Title 1 math support. She offers her students a wealth of knowledge and many years of experience. When she's not teaching, she enjoys spending time with her family!


Shannon is in her second year teaching Math Title support. Her students love her because she is so patient. She encourages students and works hard to help them reach their goals. She loves to have dance parties with her kids and we know that her kids love to dance with her, too!
