Announcements & Updates

- Final reminders for 8th grade parents:

  • The Promotion ceremony is Monday, June 5, 5:30 p.m. at Mendham High School.
  • Student attire for the Promotion ceremony is formal (ie: Cotillion- wear); school colors are encouraged.
  • Students will receive their tickets (6 per family) in school on the 5th.
  • While not an official minimal day, all 8th graders will be dismissed at 1:00 on the 5th. If you have any questions/concerns about dismissal, please contact the Main office.
  • Students must arrive at the high school by 4:45 p.m.
  • June 6 is a 1:00 dismissal for all students. If your child will be attending their sibling’s graduation at WMMHS or will not be in attendance for any other reason, please remember to inform Mrs. Austenberg


- 5th grade parents: Final progress reports were sent via mail on Thursday, June 1.


- Marking period 4 report cards/final grades will be posted to the Parent Portal on June 6. If you are unable to view your child's report card, it is because he/she did not complete their Related Arts course requests and/or money is owed to the cafeteria


- By now, all current 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th graders should have joined a "summer" Google Classroom for their rising grade level. There, students have access to their Summer Reading assignments, suggested Mathematics practice, and additional resources.


-Attention 5th, 6th, & 7th grade parents: A reminder that student Chromebooks and chargers will no longer be collected at the end of the school year. Students will keep their devices over the summer and will keep the same device for all 4 years at Mountain View. If you do not wish for your child to keep his/her device over the summer, please contact the Main office.


- A reminder that Band and Orchestra students, if they have not done so already, must either take their instrument home or leave it outside the Main Office to be picked up by the Music Shop.


- The annual HSA school supply kit fundraiser is underway through June 20. Visit

- If your family is moving out of the district or relocating to a new home in the district, or if your child will be attending private school next year, please be reminded that proper paperwork must be completed and submitted to the Main office.
