Thank you so much to our wonderful PTO volunteers for supporting our Fall Festival parties, as well as all of the parents that came out for the Fall Festival parade. Students were so excited to celebrate together with music, games, and fun!

This week we will honor veterans through an assembly and activities. Please see below to see how you can help us pay homage to those that have chosen to serve.

We are also excited to host our annual Literacy Night Event! We hope you will join us this Tuesday, November 7th from 6:00-7:15 pm to spend some community time together around reading!

Veterans Day Assembly

On Thursday, November 9th, we will host a Veterans Day assembly to celebrate those that have served as part of the Armed Forces. If you have a picture of a family member you would like to contribute for a slideshow, please complete this Google Form by Tuesday, 11/7. Thank you for your help in making this a special event!

Parent-Teacher Conferences

Parent-Teacher Conferences are just around the corner! On Monday, November 20th, from 1:00 - 8:30 pm and on Tuesday, November 21st, from 8:15 am - 1:30 pm we welcome parents to join us for one-on-one conversations regarding student growth and progress. Locate your child's teacher and sign up for specific time slots here: HH Parent-Teacher Conferences 23-24. As always, if you have any questions, please reach out to your child's classroom teacher.

Looking for Help!

Are you looking for a way to support the Heather Hill Community? Do you have availability before and after school? The Flossmoor Police Department is hiring crossing guards for schools in Flossmoor, including Heather Hill! Please see the job posting on the Village of Flossmoor website. Please feel free to pass this along to friends and family. Even if candidates can dedicate a few days of week, they are welcome to apply!

Lost and Found

It's that time of year! It's getting colder and students are dressing for the weather by bringing jackets, sweaters, hats, and gloves. This is also the season that our lost and found begins to grow. Please make sure to label your student's belongings with their name so we can return it to them easily. We also welcome students and parents to come to the office to claim items!

Birthday Treats

In order to ensure the safety of all students, families may only bring non-edible birthday treats to school to share with classmates. We cannot accept any food items to distribute to students as many students have serious food allergies. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
