School Based Mental Health Program
Through a partnership with the Village Family Service Center, Sargent Central is in our second year of offering School-Based Mental Health Services. The services offered by The Village include assessment, evaluation and treatment of mental health issues, such as depression, anxiety, and ADHD for children in grades PreK-12. Because we offer these services at Sargent Central, time is not taken away from work, children miss less school time, and the collaboration between therapist and school is streamlined, which allows us to better serve your child.
If you have concerns about your child and want to explore the services offered by our School-Based Mental Health Program, please contact Mindie Bopp, High School Counselor to begin the referral process by email (Mindie.bopp@k12.nd.us) or call at 724-3205. Please leave an active phone number in your email or message. These services are commonly covered by your health insurance, but if that’s not the case, Mrs. Bopp has secured grant funding, so don’t let the cost stop you from getting the help your child may need.
