Tool of the Week - Twitter!

Hey everyone! I hope your week is off to a great start! If you haven't created a Twitter account for your classroom yet, the beginning of the school year is a perfect time to do so. Not only is it a useful social networking tool, but it can also help teachers broaden the four walls of their classroom. Your classroom can tweet out a question and tag a similar class account asking for the answer. This creates a fun, interactive, and world-wide learning environment. Check out this YouTube tutorial on how to create an account. We will discuss Twitter at trainings too!

GoNoodle.com

Check out GoNoodle.com if you don't already use it. This website has changed my teaching. Kids get tired, kids lose focuse. GoNoodle is game-type interface where your class avatar can "level up" and morph while kids are 'brain-breaking' and refocusing. It's also a great way to get in your fitbit steps :)
